Vizcarra Torralvo is Afkomstig van 63 jaar oude wijnstokken

Vizcarra Ramos werd opgericht door Juan Carlos Vizcarra in 1991. Het landgoed heeft 25 hectare van Tempranillo wijngaard, het grootste deel 30 jaar oud, met een kleine hoeveelheid 80 jaar oude wijnstokken.

Vizcarra Torralvo heeft 18 maanden gerijpt op Frans eikenhout en is een robuuste wijn met aroma's van rijp rood fruit, cacao, mineralen en een vleugje kruiden. 
 
Goede combinatie met rood vlees, wild, paté, harde kazen en jamon. Vizcarra Torralvo is al goed op dronk, maar kan zich tenminste tot 2025 nog verder ontwikkelen.
De optimale drinktemperatuur is 16°C.

"The 2015 Torralvo shows the ripeness of the vintage but also more freshness than the JC from the same year. It's more in line with the style of Vizcarra and shows a little more power than usual given the natural conditions of the year. But it seems to be built to age in bottle, and its evolution should be positive for no less than 5 more years. A power year for Torralvo."
