Sota Els Angels negre heeft 12 maanden houtrijping gehad.
Sota Els Angels negre is een krachtige rode wijn. Rijp fruit, "roasted tones", specerijen, hout tonen, mooie ronde tannines en een aangename volle afdronk.
Uitstekende combinatie met rood vlees, wild, boeuf bourguignon, paté, jamón en harde kazen.
Nu op dronk, maar kan zich tenminste tot 2019 nog verder ontwikkelen.
De optimale drinktemperatuur voor Sota Els Angels negre is 16°C.

"The 2008 Sota Els Angels is also completely different from its younger sibling, with a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Carinena complemented by about 20% Carmenere. It is dark and concentrated, a serious effort, a good Atlantic-Mediterranean combination with aromas of sweet spices, black pepper, paprika, chocolate, ripe plums and blackberries and a velvety texture, with fine-grained tannins, balanced and with good freshness. Again, this is a great improvement over the previous vintage. Drink now-2019. 

Sota Els Angels is one of the most exciting new projects in Emporda, with a white and two reds produced by the daughter of the late Jesus Polanco (one of the press magnates of Spain) and her husband, with technical advice from Fredi Torres of Priorat fame since the 2013 harvest. The latest vintage released is a big improvement over the previous ones. A name to watch."
