"The profile of the 2012 Viña Pomal Vinos Singulares Graciano had a mixture of dark fruit, licorice, graphite and shoe polish with a tendency to provide animal notes. It felt distinctly riper than the memory I had from the 2010. Graciano is not an easy grape, so I'm not surprised if you cannot replicate the results from one given vintage in future years. Here the nose feels a little too ripe, even if the palate keeps good freshness and the tannins are fine grained. A bit of a contradiction between nose and palate. A bit of a question mark. If you're sensitive to leathery reds, this might not be for you. 1,200 bottles."
